The Same Peace God Enjoys

Do you want peace? Real peace, the very peace that God himself enjoys?

Good news! You’re the boss of the peace in your life. More good news-God has supplied it and tells us exactly how to get it. How? The answer is awesome! Get ready for some peace!

“Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life.”

Phil 4:6 TPT

“Translate moments into prayerful worship, and soak your requests in gratitude before God!”

Phil 4:6 Mirror

When something happens in your life and you become anxious, worried, pulled in different directions, what should you do? Pray. But how? With gratitude and worship, knowing that God loves you. Knowing that you are one with Christ Jesus. Knowing that He cares. Thank him for taking the matter into his hands and for his help. Your hearts deepest feelings and the tranquility of your thoughts are fully guarded in his hands, in prayer.

How much should you pray? “Be saturated in prayer”. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have the time to sit and pray that much. Saturated seems like a lot of praying. But prayer is talking to God. You can talk to him in the car, while doing laundry, dishes, walking the dog, exercising, eating, putting on makeup and any time your spirit shows you is a good time.

“Then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ.”

Phil 4:7 TPT

“And in this place of worship and gratitude you will witness how the peace of God within you echoes the awareness of your oneness in Christ Jesus beyond the reach of any thought that could possibly unsettle you.”

Phil 4:7 Mirror

“Fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always”

Phil 4:8TPT

“Live overwhelmed by God’s opinion of you!”

Phil 4:8 Mirror

To sum it up – pray about everything in your life, but pray with gratitude, thanking him for taking the situation. Thanking him for the victory in the situation. Thanking him for his love, favor and blessings that are just for you. Think positive. And then the peace, God’s peace will come. That is what the Word says, so that settles it. Take and enjoy God’s peace.

Blessings,
